Working with software tutorials and other online tutorial software, I
have always relied on a still-image based presentation methodology. The
reason for this is simply because there are much more presentation
software that use still-images, as compared to applications that use
video-based presentation software. And the fact that video-based
presentations are simply much more tedious to work on than still images.

Well, that was before I tried Camtasia Studio. This versatile
software application lets you record and capture screenshots of your
computer screen. You can then take the recordings and create
professional-looking videos, perfect for making tutorials or
step-by-step how-tos. Downloading and trying out the software, I
discovered that I could capture my entire screen or just a part of it. I
could also remove parts of a video recording as I wish, as well as
remove parts of an actual video shot. Merging video clips is easy with
video stitching, which permitted me to combine finalized video clips
into a larger, more comprehensive video clip.
The new version also features the green screen feature, which
allowed me to place a video clip within a green screen on the target
video. This is great for final messages on a video presentation. All in
all, this is truly a great software application for online educators,
presenters, marketing people and for those who just need to create a
really professional-looking video.
